A Solemn Requiem Mass for All Souls Day (2 November) was celebrated in the Cathedral, with Fr John officiating assisted by Fr Gary, Fr Pascal and Fr Michael, with the Cathedral Choir singing the Requiem by Gabriel Fauré.

Despite the very inclement weather outside, a large congregation was present, including many younger parishioners from the Brentwood Catholic Youth Service.

Fauré’s music, with the Cathedral Choir, directed by Andrew Wright, and Stephen King on the organ, made the service an even more moving  event.
