At a truly moving service, officiated by Bishop Alan Williams, we witnessed the Ordination of Deacon Andrei Ilies to the Sacred Priesthood.

The Cathedral Choir directed by Andrew Wright provided the excellent music for this holy occasion.

Many friends and relatives of Andrei from Romania, together with colleagues from the Pontifical Beda College, Rome, joined a large congretation, including many priests, in the Cathedral for this solemn and joyful event.
