William Douglas

William Douglas is a third year student, reading music at King’s College London, with taught performance given by the Royal Academy of Music. William has performed with prestigious orchestras across London, as well as nationally, whilst also maintaining his roots in brass banding, having been involved in banding for over ten years now.

This pursuit has enabled William to perform across the UK and abroad. William hopes to enter into music teaching at the completion of his undergraduate degree, as well as continue his interest in conducting and musical leadership.

Oscar Eastman

Oscar has been a brass player for 13 years, and has played trombone since the age of 15. As a third year Physics student at King’s College London, he plays the principal trombone parts in the KCL Brass Band, King’s Big Band, and KCLSO. As a member of Brentwood Cathedral Choir, Oscar has sung for many years at several major events.

Oscar has had the pleasure performing around the world; most recently at Berlin Opera Academy’s Opernfest held in Kandersteg, Switzerland, during in which he performed The Magic Flute and Die Fledermaus.

Oscar looks forward to further performance opportunities in the future, and hopes to develop further as a trombone player.

Michael Tasker

Michael started learning trombone at the age of 6 and is currently studying a postgraduate degree at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire, having finished his undergraduate studies at King’s College London this Summer.

He has had the pleasure of taking his trombone across the globe, from Hong Kong to the USA, as well performing in venues such as the Festival Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall.

He has also featured on Sky One’s documentary “Harrow: A Very British School”.

Michael has thoroughly enjoyed moving onto the Bass Trombone in recent years, especially with the creation of the Sliding Around, to broaden his understanding of the lower range and tackle the new skills and challenges this instrument presents at him.
