Biography
Alexander Wilton is an undergraduate student at the Royal College of Music in London, studying organ with Charles Andrews, Martin Ford, David Graham and Martin Schmeding.  He is a John Birch Scholar.

Previously, Alexander studied at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester before taking up an organ scholarship at Manchester Cathedral. Whilst at Chetham’s, he gave lunchtime organ recitals at Manchester cathedral and at the RCM, he has featured in the keyboard festival.

He has also performed in a joint concert given by students from the RCM organ department at the Guards’ Chapel in Westminster.

In addition to performing as a soloist, Alexander has also played multiple times with orchestra and chorus.

He has been the organist for performances of Benjamin Britten’s Saint Nicolas at the Stoller Hall in Manchester as well as Lili Boulanger’s Psalm 24 and Ottorino Respighi’s Pines of Rome at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
