| Mary Spiers – Happy 80th Birthday!
This evening’s celebration concert was organised by Roderick Elms and Tim Hooper, to mark Mary’s 80th birthday, with the participation of choirs from the Hutton & Shenfield Choral Society, the Redbridge Youth Choir Veterans and the Parish Singers from St Thomas of Canterbury, Brentwood. The Old Friends’ Orchestra with their leader Michael Gray was present, and the Cathedral Organ was played by Stephen King, recently retired organist at the Cathedral.
