Sunday 7 May 2023 – 11:30am Sung Mass
The Schola Cantorum of Campion School directed by James Devor were very warmly welcomed to Brentwood Cathedral on Sunday 7 May, when they joined the Cathedral Choir, directed by our Master of Music, Andrew Wright, providing wonderful music for the 11:30 sung Mass. Fr Martin, Dean of the Cathedral, officiated at Mass. After the Coronation of King Charles III the day before, there was a real feeling of celebration in the choice of music for this Mass. The choral music was supplemented by excellent trumpet playing by Adam Farrant, and, of course, the organ music from our Cathedral organist, Stephen King. |
