Tenor Recital
Wednesday 8 November 2023 – 1 pm to 1:45 pm
On 8 November, tenor, Josh Furtado-Mendes. and pianist, Stefan Weidner combined forces to give us a magnificent rendering of Schumann’s excellent Dichterliebe (The Poet’s Love) A sad story of young love was beautifully interpreted, in the original German language, for a very appreciative audience at this Cathedral Lunchtime Rectal. Many thanks to our gifted young musicians. Click below to hear recordings made during the recital. |
